History

BulletTrain Computing was founded in 2000, by San Francisco designer Jake Ehrlich, whose lifelong ambition has been to unlock the potential power of computers for every human being on earth.

Jake started BulletTrain in order to share his advanced "Friction Free Computing" designs with the connected world. Jake loves empowering people with the knowledge necessary to maximize the potential with their computers… AKA Friction Free Computing.

Jake decieded to name his company BulletTrain because he was so inspired by the actual bullet trains which are by far the fasted and most effective trains on earth. At BulletTrain or slogan is "Friction Free Computing." This also was inspired by the legendary bullet trains because real bullet trains can cruise at speeds in excess of 250 miles per hour, because they don't actually ride on the track. Instead they hover the train above the track so there is no resistance, or friction free cruzing.

It has been said that humans typically use about 10% of their brain power, with a few people like Albert Einstien kicking it up to 15%. The real question is if there is another 85% or more that is not being utilized, who do you access it? That is where BulletTrain comes in to play. BulletTrain's primary design objective is to access and harnes that other 85% by creating and providing a proactive new computing paradigm that gives you instant access to everything in your world

Jake also was the lead imagineer for SAP, the German Enterprise Software Company. SAP was trying to figure out how to make their CRM, ERP, and HRM more appealing to their customers.
